France has a huge range of holiday villages designed for families which are mainly located in coastal areas. Odalys Vacances is a chain with properties in rural and alpine areas as well as coastal. Pierre Vacances is a large chain with a number of brands including holiday villages, apartments, chalets etc. They are mainly found in coastal and mountain resorts. They are generally modern and well appointed and offer good value for money for a family.    Eurocamp is a specialising in cabin and tented accommodation targeting the UK market Keycamp is a large chain of coastal and rural holiday villages offering cabins and pre-erected tents. Its a cheap and cheery family holiday in France. Driving is the best way to get to these places although some may offer pick from train stations etc.
